Our dogs deserve perfect fits!

Before you begin, choose a calm, quiet space. Let your dog see and sniff the harness to get acquainted. If your pup is sound-sensitive, take a moment to open and close the buckles near them, perhaps muffling the "click" sound with your hand to make it less intimidating. To avoid making them feel cornered, sit side-by-side with your pup instead of hovering over them. A gentle, side-on approach is much more inviting than a frontal one!

1. Place Y strap on sternum bone

not above, where it hits the trachea!

Open the front buckles for an easy side-entry.
As you adjust the Y-shaped front straps, ensure the front ring sits squarely on your dog’s sternum bone.

2. Rib-Side Placement

Side strap further from front arms, but never on belly!

Adjust the side straps so they rest comfortably on the ribs.
Ensure there is enough space—at least two fingers’ width—between the straps and the front legs to prevent any chafing.
Make sure the straps are never placed on the sensitive belly.
Note: You never need to lift your dog’s paws to fit our harness, as the side straps open from both sides!

3. Adjust the top and bottom straps

Until they sit comfortably along your dog’s natural body length.

To prevent sliding, you can extend the top strap and bottom strap slightly longer, you should see a better improvement.
Some degree of sliding is normal, as our dog's movements are never perfectly symmetrical.
Make sure the bottom straps are not always in the armpit.
If sliding persists, you can consider shortening left / right side of Y strap; to compensate for asymetries caused by the dog's natural gaits (ie ostheoarthritis in some dogs).

4. The Final Check:

You should be able to slide your fingers easily under all the webbing.

Gently pull the back of the harness to ensure the front ring stays securely on the sternum bone and double-check that the length of the side straps are symmetrical.

5. On Accessories

Balance + Silence is key!

To keep your pup comfortable and balanced, we recommend attaching identification tags, GPS trackers, or lights to the top back strap.
To keep your walks peaceful, try using silent tags—many dogs find the constant clicking of metal tags distracting or unpleasant.
